A remanufactured part is made from an existing part (core) and follows standardized industrial processes in line with specific technical specifications. A remanufactured part comes with the same warranty as the new part and is clearly identified as remanufactured.
In other words, a refurbished part, a zero km part, a part without risk for repairers and their customers, of very high quality and guaranteed like the new part.
The main objection of repairers to using reused parts is the quality of the products. This is a major issue for the development of circular economy offers. In this regard, remanufacturing provides a very convincing response.

Official definition of remanufacturing (Source: Mobilians): “Reman (or remanufacturing) is defined by a rigorous industrial process that regenerates the intrinsic value of a product at the end of its cycle by replacing, renovating, or regenerating all or part of its components. The modified product thus presents a quality (functionality and durability) and functional performance that is close to, equal to, or even superior to that of the new product.”
